BDub Books will happily accept the following genres, provided they comply with the rules above; Biography or autobiography, journals or personal narratives, action/adventure, mystery, fairy tale/fantasy, historical fiction, general fiction, children’s picture and chapter books, science fiction, suspense/thriller, YA, dystopian. Please email submissions to brittianywest@gmail.com with your name, manuscript title, genre, editing service desired and word count in the subject line. Attach your manuscript as a word document, or a link to a google doc. In the body of your email, please include a short (no more than 3 paragraphs) synopsis of your work.
*Please be aware that turnaround time will vary. The best way to determine turnaround time is to reach out to me through email so that we can negotiate a time. Prices, however, are non-negotiable.

Critique Services
This is your typical read-through from an outside perspective. If you need to know whether the story is enjoyable to read, if your characters are relatable, if your dialogue is realistic and if this book has the potential to sell, this is the edit for you.
- Up to 7,500 words: $20
- 7,500 to 39,999 words: $70
- 40,000 to 80,000 words: $100
- Anything above 80,000: $200
Formal Analysis
A formal analysis builds on a critique in that I also look at structure and development. Does your story move at a good pace? Do your characters grow and change throughout the story? Does the plot make sense? These questions and others are answered in this type of edit.
- Up to 7,500 words: $25
- 7,500 to 39,999 words: $75
- 40,000 to 80,000 words: $150
- Anything above 80,000: $250
Copy Edit
This is where we go back to grade school. Are your words spelled properly and used in the correct tense and context? Do your paragraphs, pages and chapters flow cohesively? Have you used correct punctuation? Do you have any hidden run-on sentences or prepositional phrases lurking? This is a standard grammatical edit.

Trifecta
For a really deep analysis and critique, the Trifecta combines all three edits into one super edit.
